Inverchandlick

Situated in a stunning south facing location, close to the River Dee and overlooking Braemar Castle and the Grampian Mountains, Inverchandlick has been renovated and refurbished to provide self-catering accommodation for up to six people. This former ferryman’s cottage is approached by a long, private track through Invercauld Estate and, although 4×4s are not essential, sports-type cars are not recommended.

The area is at the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park and is perfect for enjoying a wide variety of pursuits, from historic castle visits and touring through the magnificent Deeside scenery, to many outdoor activities for the more energetic: walking, skiing, golfing and fishing all being within close range. Salmon fishing in season is available in the pools directly in front of the cottage and is included in the rental, and more information about fishing on the Dee can be found on www.fishdee.co.uk.

The picturesque villages of Braemar, Ballater and Aboyne are ideal for a little gentle shopping in the many unusual gift shops and galleries, and most of the restaurants remain open throughout the year.

"Just a message to say what a wonderful stay we had at Inverchandlick. It was one of the best holidays we have enjoyed, and certainly one of the best locations. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and also thanks to you for your assistance in escorting us down to the cottage on our arrival.
We will highly recommend Inverchandlick to family and friends, and hope we can stay there again ourselves sometime in the future. Steve and Sam Pryke,
West Yorkshire"
